  • Developed and implemented survey of unit directors in the membership on a 3-year cycle

  • Encouraged a culture of research to inform practice

  • Introduced research consultation table at national convention to support member-driven research

  • Successfully received Board approval to add a second Research Award to recognize research in both Academics and Student-Athlete Development and increased honorarium from $250 to $500 per award

  • Grew committee from 5 members to over 100 through term
